He was predeceased by: his father William Mitchell; his former spouse Sharian "Sherry" Grider; his mother Claudine Mitchell (Mattingly); and his sister Treva Deloreas Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Debra James of Summerville, SC; his daughters, Annette Fisher (late Timothy) of Peoria, IL, Mechele "Shelly" Kraft (Kevin) of Yucaipa, CA, Colette Willoughby (Dave Stovall) of Pekin, IL and Nicole Butler (Honor Coleman) of Bloomington, IL; his stepson Robert Mitchum (Stephanie) of Summerville, SC.; his grandchildren, Whitney Kelly, Mitch Fisher, Chance Sergenti, Maggie Sergenti, Colton Sergenti, Hunter Willoughby, Presley Stovall, Drake Butler, Carson Butler, Brock Butler, Taylor Mitchum and Madison Mitchum; his great grandchildren, Ryan Rusk, Kaleb Price, Maci Donohoe, Lydia Donohoe and Charlotte Fisher; his brother Daniel Mitchell Sr. (Linda); and his nephews, Daniel Mitchell Jr., Douglas Mitchell and David Mitchell.
