He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Pender Sweat; his wife Kelly Pender; his stepfather Dan Sweat, Sr.; his children, Lauren Pender of Summerville and Justin Pender (Erica) of Eutawville; his stepdaughter Brailly Hoffman (Connor); his siblings, Terri James (Will) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Zan Tracy Pender (Connie) of Sumter; his stepsiblings, Patty Hill (John) and Dan Sweat, Jr. (Susan); and his grandchildren, Alyssa Porter of Columbia, Naomi Pender, JJ Pender of Eutawville and Riley Tyson of Summerville.
