It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Lee Grant Sr. of Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archer Keller and Marie Taylor-Stroy; his wife Josephine Grant (Holman); and his sons, Johnnie Lee, Robert Lee and Nathaniel.
He is survived by: his daughter Joann; his siblings, Ethel Parker, Johnnie Stroy, Jr., Freddie Stroy and William Stroy; his children, Clara Martin (George) of Summerville, SC, Tommie Lee Grant, Jr. (Robin) of Summerville, SC, Anthony Pelzer (Valerie) of Fayetteville, NC, Rose Marie Hamrick of Summerville, SC, Roger Pelzer (Tracy) of Minot, ND and Donna Grant of Summerville, SC.; his parents-in-law, Janet Grant, BarbaraGrant, Ophelia Grant and Kenneth Jackson; his sister-in-law Maggie Fulton of Holly Hill, SC; his siblings, Henry Stroy (Jacqueline) of Columbia, SC, Selena Keitt, Deborah Stroy, Joann Bunch (Marvin) of Atlanta, GA, Janie Stroy, Ann Stroy of Columbia, SC and Ruth Green (Cecil) of Oklahoma City, OK; and his sisters-in-law, Sarah Stroy, Linda Stroy and Oneida Stroy. He is also survived by forty grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
