She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Isaac Hinton; her parents, Henry Lee and Edna Mae Charpia; and her siblings, Mary Judy and George Henry "Bubba" Charpia.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodger Dale Hinton (Lora) of Summerville, Joseph Wayne Hinton and Myron Lee Hinton (Lisa) of Chapin; her grandchildren, Mashell, Dale, Kristy, Elizabeth, Lee and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Brooke, Phillip, Abigail, Everett and Ada; and her great great grandchild Kensleigh.
