It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Ray Tooley of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Greenville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Tooley and Bessie Tooley; and his siblings, Becky Chin, Wayne Tooley, Dwight Tooley, Danny Tooley and Brad Tooley.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Tooley of Summerville; his children, Michael Tooley (Maria), Thomas Tooley (Julie), Denise Bashqawi (Richard), Jason Tooley (Becky) and Debra Pignol (Nico); his grandchildren, Michael Tooley (Rachel), Jessica Rhodes (Dan), Joseph Tooley (Jessica), Brittany Tooley, Kayla Tooley, Nicholas Bashqawi, Alexander Bashqawi, Mark Bashqawi, Savannah Tooley, Devin Tooley, Alexis Tooley, Olivia Tooley, Kristin Tooley, Jake Tooley, Kaylyn Pignol and Haylee Pignol; his great grandchildren, Ayden Tooley, Alana Tooley and Zyair Smith; and his siblings, Teddy Tooley, Gary Tooley and Jetta Morse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
