William O'Neil Obituary

William "Toppi" Edward O'Neil, 69, husband of Diana O'Neil, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. The relatives and friends of William O'Neil are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 12 Noon on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.

Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday. Flowers will be accepted. The family requests that masks be worn for the service and that you also come as you are, casual dress is acceptable. Toppi was born on August 15, 1952 in Washington, DC. He was the son of William Edward O'Neil and Margaret Ann Doerr.

Toppi loved music, bingo, collecting, eating, watching Judge Judy, wrestling and CNN, but above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Diana; son, William O'Neil (Patty); daughters, Sharron Rachui (Daniel Green), Tonya Thixton (Jeremiah) and Amanda Perez-Perez (Marcelino); 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his brothers, Al Toppi, Tony Toppi, Bobby Toppi and Mark Toppi; sisters, Madeline Harris-Warren and Joanne Tellier, as well as life-long friends, Cliff and Faye Gaddist and Betty Sinclair, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margaret "Margie" Conroy and her husband, George Windsor and Lorraine Baum as well as his brother, William "Mike" O'Neil.
