He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ruth Winters; his cousin Nick Hamilton; his nephew Mayor Ricky Waring; his children, William Hayne Waring, Jr. (Cindy) of Summerville, Pamela Waring Jameson (Larry) of Summerville, Esther Waring Wells (George) of Summerville, Jan Waring Woods (Jim) of Summerville and Christopher Stevens Waring (Michelle) of Summerville; his grandson William Hayne Waring, III (Molly); his children, Robert Vanderhorst Waring (Samantha), Claire Jameson Kabine (Chris), Lawrence Grover Jameson, III, Joseph Patrick Waring, Bradford Jonathan Waring (Erin), Charlotte Wells Timmons (Tyler), James Alfred Woods, Jr., Jennings Waring Woods, Jacob Stevens Waring and Ashleigh Sims Waring; his great grandchild Anna Claire Kabine; and his grandchildren, Emma Kabine, Christopher Kabine, Ellie Kabine, Caroline Waring, Wiley Waring, Annesly Waring, Blakely Waring, Rory Timmons, Wells Timmons and Bryson Waring.
