He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ward; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Ward of North Augusta, SC; his daughter Beth; his son-in-law Allen Newton of Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Rachel Ward Duff, Lt. Alex Ward and Sydney Thirkettle; and his siblings, Linda Madar of Carlisle, AR and Ronnie Ward of Hampton, VA..
