She was predeceased by: her husband William Ervin Brunson III; her parents, Anthony Kennedy Bowman and Caroline Richardson Bowman; her brother Anthony K. Bowman, Jr.; her son-in-law Daniel W. Prosser; and her aunts, Eleanora S. Richardson and Anne S. Richardson.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca B. Prosser, Deborah B. Richardson (Rick), Adele B. Carter and William Ervin Brunson, IV; her grandchildren, Elizabeth M. Prosser, Richard D. Richardson, III, Kristin Adele Carter and Erin L. Ayers; and her great grandchildren, Eleanora R. Prosser and Isabella E. Ayers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
