He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Collins and Billie Harrison Collins; and his brothers, Robert "Bob", Clayton and Doug Collins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Weatherly (Brian) of Sumter and Amanda Heffington (Jimie); his brother Michael Collins (Nancy) of Sumter; and his grandsons, Brandon Barkley, Austin Riles and James Heffington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
