She was predeceased by: her husband Harry S. Brunson, Jr.; her parents, George Powell and Blanche Timmons Powell; her siblings, Alma Alford, Irene McElveen, Betty Brown and Geroge "Slick" Powell, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Margie Brunson; and her stepmother Addie Mae Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Richard H. Brunson of Ashwood, Cynthia B. Quick (Jerry) of St. Pauls, NC and Bryan V. Brunson (Sharon) of Hartsville; her grandchildren, Jeff Privette (Caroline) of Hartsville, Jason Privette (Lindsay) of Darlington, Erica Rogers (Benton) of Fairmont, NC, Richie Brunson (April) of Ashwood, Curtis Brunson (Robin) of Bishopville, Monica Huggins (Jeremy) of Bishopville, Amanda Turner (Bryan) of Loris and Andrew Brunson (Casey) of Hartsville; and her half-sister Gail Ferguson (Orby) of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
