She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. David Ramsey and Elmeta Alston Ramsey; and her siblings, Leroy Ramsey, Johnny Ramsey, David Ramsey Jr., Mary Ellen R. Fries, May B. Jones, Nettie R. Gains and Betty Lue Ramsey.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Nickens III; her children, Sharron Jones and Dennis Nickens IV (Barbara) of Charlotte, NC.; her nephews, Terrance Bradley (Kina) of Locus Grove, GA and Shannon Davis (Monisha) of Dalzell; her grandchildren, Xavier Jones, Ebony Jones of Charlotte, NC, Shania Davis, Micah Davis, Sheldon Davis of Dalzell, Na'Jae Bradley, Trayvon Bradley of Locus Grove, GA, Isaiah Caroll and Eliajh Caroll of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Juanita Ramsey Deas (Elbert) and Louis Ramsey of Sumter; and her siblings-in-law, Mae Ethel Nickens, Ella Teamoney, Earnestine Jenkins, Marie Ramsey and Thomas Nickens. She is also survived by niece, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations from 4:00 – 8:00 p. m., at the home 870 Mayfield Drive, Sumter.
