With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Bailey Reames (Sumter, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Dalton Reames, Sr.; her parents, Marshall Dwight Bailey and Ida Amerson Bailey; her sister-in-law Dottie Reames; her nephew Buddy Reames; and her niece Kelley Reames.
She is survived by: her children, Dalton Reames of Sumter and Teri Reames Griffin (Trey) of Sumter; her grandsons, Aiden Griffin and Adair Griffin; her niece Leslie Taylor; and her siblings-in-law, Carlisle Reames of Chapin and Irene Lewis (Skip) of West Union.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Patriot Park Pavilion (380 General Dr, Sumter, SC 29150).
