He is survived by: his mother Algie Mae Jennings Green; his son Ashby Tyon Green of Sumter; his sibling Asha Green of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his aunts, Rosa Lee Green of New Jersey, Rosa Lee Jennings of Sumter, Rethea Green of Sumter, Margaret Montgomery of Sumter, Frances Montgomery of Sumter, Rebecca Simon of Sumter, Evelyn Prioleau (Billy) of Sumter, Elder Janie Dingle (John) of Sumter, Mattie Green of Sumter and Minister Susie Laidler of Sumter; and his uncle Deacon James Simon (Kammi) of North Carolina. He is also survived by other relatives, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whites Mortuary (517 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Ministries Cooljc Apostolic Faith (95 Community St, Sumter, SC 29150). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
