It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ayanna D. Alexander (Sumter, South Carolina), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annette Pitts Alexander and John Alexander (Shirley) of Riverdale, GA; her son Antonio Alexander; her granddaughter Aaliya Lloyd; her godmother Lillie Pearson McGee of Sumter; her sisters, Kay "Michelle" Warren and Abena Alexander of Charlotte, NC; her stepsisters, Shani Moore (Martiez) of Columbia, Danielle Rich of Franklin, OH, Priscilla Logan of Charlotte and N. C.; and her daughter Essence Rush of Sumter.

In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 7 Carl Avenue, Sumter.
