It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bessie Lowder (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 28, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Lee Lowder; her parents, Talmadge Dewitt McCutchen and Emma Britton McCutchen; and her brothers, Thomas McCutchen, Ernest McCutchen and Earl McCutchen.

She is survived by: her children, Jenifer Boykin (Allen Brown) of Ridgeway, Henry L. Lowder, Jr. (Tammy) of Oswego and Dewitt Lowder of Surfside Beach; her grandchildren, Caroline Boykin Spivey (Jonathan), Henry Boykin (Rebecca) and Charles L. Lowder; her great grandchildren, William Spivey, Olivia and Andy Boykin; and her siblings, Joe McCutchen (Nell), Wayne McCutchen (Patsy) and Mary McCutchen Fulton (Elbert). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Everyone is reminded of Covid 19 social distancing recommendations and masks are encouraged.
