It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Ardis (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Ardis; her parents, Charles Galloway and Willene Jackson Galloway; her siblings, Charles T. Galloway and Dorothy "Dot" Gardenhire; and her niece Cindy Broome.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Ardis (Cindy) and Stan Ardis (Marijon); her grandchildren, Kevin, Courtney, Kaitlin, Bryson and Hayden; her great grandchildren, Freya and Brynley; and her siblings, Carl Galloway (Pat) and Deborah Murray (Mike).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crosswell Baptist Church (604 Mathis St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
