She is survived by: her children, James M. Welch of Sumter, Debbie Welch Byrd (Terry) of Creedmoor, NC, Janet Welch Newman (Whit) of Sumter, Danny Ray Welch of Sumter and Violet Welch Peele (Kenny) of North, SC. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
