She was predeceased by: her father Daniel Joseph Dinkins. She is survived by: her husband Roderick Charles; her children, Kamri Charles and Roderick Charles; her grandchildren, Na'Kyla Tomlin and Rashawn Tomlin, Jr.; her mother Ollie Mase Dennis Dinkins; her sisters, Laura Dinkins, Carolyn Levine (Claude), Peggy Ballard (Moses), Jo Ann Hastie (Glenn) and Kimberly Dinkins; and her siblings-in-law, Reverend Kenneth Charles (Christina), Dwayne Charles, Raymond Charles and Tonya Mallory (Lewis). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whites Mortuary (517 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jehovah Baptist Church (805 S Harvin St, Sumter, SC 29150). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at the Hillside Memorial Park (2445 Cains Mill Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
