He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Saunders, Sr. and Martha Gardner Saunders; his son Hyatt H. Saunders; and his brother Freddie Saunders. He is survived by: his sons, Frasier Saunders, III (Vickie) of Dalzell and Garrett B. Saunders (Barbara) of Maysville, GA.; his grandchildren, Carl F. Saunders IV, Hyatt H. Saunders Jr., Sean D. Saunders, Brett M. Saunders and Mary "Mollie" S. Oswald; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth "LeNoir" Oswald and Mary Thomas Oswald; his brother Jimmy Saunders (Jane) of Sumter; his nephews, Ricky Saunders, Paul Saunders and Mark Saunders; and his niece Missy Saunders.
