She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James P. Brown and Elizabeth Saunders Brown; her siblings, William J., Joseph A., Charles W. Brown and Beulah M. Brown; and her granddaughter Catherine E. Brown.
She is survived by: her son James E. Brown of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Stephanie Williams of Sacramento, CA, Sonia Tennell of Sacramento, CA and James Brown (Yvette) of Sacramento, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Catherine E. Harris of Vooches, NJ, Lenona Minor, Deborah K. Hicks of Brooklyn, NY, Monrow D. Brown and John B. Brown. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
