Harris of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Wedowee, Alabama, whose life came to an end on June 26, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Harris and Ruth T. Harris; his siblings, Vester Jr., Jesse, Eugene, Beatrice Jackson, Maggie Green and Bernice Wright; and his grandson Daniel Lizardi.

He is survived by: his son Charles [Ayanna]; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Ian and Anesha; and his siblings, Lugenia Gantt and James.

His service extended beyond the church doors as a leader in the 7th Masonic District, where he worked tirelessly to uphold the values of brotherhood, charity, and community service.
