He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James W. Jones, Sr. and Emmie Marvin Jones; and his brothers, Rev. Marvin Jones, James W. "Bill" Jones, Jr. and Rev. Joe Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Charles Wayne Jones (Christine Kodman-Jones) of Philadelphia and Barry A. Jones (Anderson Nichols) of Salem, MA; his granddaughters, Kayla Jones and Ana Jones; and his siblings, Rev. Bob Jones of Rock Hill, Rev. Sam Jones of Nashville and Sarah Smith of Fort Mill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
