He is survived by: his former wife Delores Tobias; his children, Joseph "Jody" Mitchum (Tammie), Sharon Mitchum Poplin (Rocky), Lisa Mitchum Bellamy (Colin) and Charles Mitchum (Kim); his stepsons, Derek Hawkins (Wendy), Carl Hawkins, Jr. (Crystal) and Timothy Hawkins (Heather); his sister Sylvia Mitchum; his sister-in-law Hazel Mitchum; and his pets, Happy, Flash and Buddy. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
