He was predeceased by: his father James Edison Mahaffey. He is survived by: his mother Jean Porch Mahaffey; his children, Forrest Corey (Teagan) and Brooklyn Mahaffey (Mac); his siblings, Jim Mahaffey (Ruby), Britt Mahaffey (Amanda), Roslyn Mahaffey and Susan Mahaffey (Juan); and his grandchildren, Rylan, Blakely, Kaylen, Autumn and Marco.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (2445 Old Manning Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
