Christopher Malek Mickens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025, at the age of 28, Christopher Malek Mickens (Sumter, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jeanette Mickens, Loretta Gamble and Albert T. Burroughs, Jr.; his aunts, Josia Gamble and Cloretta Wilson; and his uncle William Ford.
He is survived by: his parents, Chastidy Mickens and Christopher Gamble; his children, Malek Mickens and Maleya Mickens; his siblings, Katisha Mickens, Juanita Mickens, Endya Cooper, Aniya Holmes, Dominique Mickens, Desmond Gamble and Calek Gamble; the mother of his children Briea Hughes; and his close friend Tiffany Brown. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church (155 Wall St, Sumter, SC 29150).
