She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl McElveen and Lorelle Player McElveen; and her siblings, Wayne M. McElveen, Judy McElveen and Marilyn Hyatt.
She is survived by: her son Michael Wayne Staley (Terri) of Sumter; her sister Cynthia M. Hamilton of Smithfield, NC; and her grandson Michael Lea Staley. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
