It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Hudson (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marvin Hudson, Sr. and Agnes Estelle Bartlette Hudson; and his siblings, Evelyn Sniecinski, Retha Corine Hudson and Robert Marvin Hudson, Jr..

He is survived by: his siblings, James W. Hudson, Sr. of Sumter, Esther H. Whitehead of Sumter, H. Gordon Hudson (Marilyn) of Sumter and Thomas R. Hudson (Vicki) of Ponce Inlet, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 2401 Bethel Church Rd., Sumter, SC 29154 or to Paxville Methodist Church, 10279 Lewis Rd., Manning, SC 29102.
