He was predeceased by: his parents, David Franklin Timmons and Belle Griffin Timmons. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann Berry Timmons; his children, Michelle Rogers, Amanda Reed (John) and Joey Timmons (Melissa); his grandchildren, Kayla Hall (Clint), Savannah Rogers, Chase Rogers, Brooke Reed, Hunter Reed, Tyler Coker (Kelsey), Kennedy Coker, Paisley Timmons and Makenzie Timmons; and his great grandchildren, Tinsley, Hartley, Jax, Navy, Landon and Kori.

Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1116 Manning Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
