She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Mae Fortune; her siblings, Gloria Jean Mack and James Mack; her boyfriend Michael Lane Jones; and her nephew Anton Mack.

She is survived by: her children, Bernice Brown, Mellisa Fortune, Shameka Fortune, Charome Fortune and Willie Fortune; her grandchildren, Dereon, Danaya, Erica of M'Lisha, RJ, Kiyaffi, Bryan, Bryce, Bryanna and Isaiah; her aunt Lillie Mae Meyers; her siblings, Lucille Grier, Willie Reames and Russell; and her close friends, Sonya Adams and Bertha Shivers. She is also survived by niece (s), nephew (s), family and friends.
