She was predeceased by: her father Dewitt Griffis; and her brothers, Terry Griffis and Wendell Griffis. She is survived by: her husband James W. Atkinson; her children, James Paul Wiechering (Kimberly Hope) of Sumter, John Louis Wiechering of Pittsburg, PA, Mark William Atkinson (Amanda Danielle) of Greenville, SC and Catherine Atkinson; her grandchildren, Brittnie Korrine Buff, James Scott Wiechering, Brice Matthew Wiechering, Liam James Atkinson and Dustin Bauer; her great grandchildren, Karson Buff, Easton Buff, Landon Buff and Waylon Buff; and her siblings, Brenda Bunch, Gary Griffis, Susan Young, Melodie Griffis, Melinda Weber, Sheila Gilkeson and Timothy Griffis.
