She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Van Patten and Paige Lyles Stokes (Danny); her grandchildren, Todd Brown (Gaffney), Amber Van Patten McGarity (Colin), Mary Daniel Stokes Griffith (Austin), Luke Stokes (Ansley), Samuel Finn Lyles and Georgia Claire Lyles; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Brown, McLendon Brown, Elle Brown, Baker McGarity, Kixx Stokes and Emily Griffith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Baptist Church (107 E Liberty St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
