She was predeceased by: her husband William P. Alston; and her parents, J. Pittman Robinson and Effie Mims Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Tommy" M. Moore, III (Ginger) and Mary Ellen Davis (Bill); her grandchildren, Thomas "Champe" M. Moore, IV (Sheila), Tori D. Whitaker, Courtney D. Whitaker (Evan) and Meredith M. Few (Todd); her stepchildren, Frances Ann Coker (Alan) and William P. Alston, Jr. (Susan); her stepgrandchildren, Brian Coker, Erin C. Watkins (Travis), Alex Alston and Ashley Alston Young (Aaron); and her siblings, Wanda R. Rodgers (Larry), Timothy Robinson (Susie) and Thomas J. Robinson (Bonnie). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren.
