He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McBride and Geneva Sharper McBride; his siblings, Katherine Ross, Francis Nelson and Sammie "Sneaky" Sharper; and his sister-in-law Rosetta McBride.

He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Funchess, Helen McBride and Thomas McBride. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
