It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Eric Hamilton of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Wilmington, Ohio, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Helen Delores Hamilton. He is survived by : his father Edward George Hamilton; his wife Sheila Dell Hodges Hamilton; his children, Eric Hamilton (Ashleigh) of Sumter, SC, Brett Hamilton (Kristen) of Sumter, SC, Brittany Hamilton of Sumter, SC, Amanda Stanley (Jason) of Sumter, SC and Laura Wasson (Mike) of Panama City, FL; his sisters, Marjorie Jane Hallman (Ron) of Sumter, SC, Victoria Ann Aytes of Kansas and Denise Elaine Carr (Rick) of Columbia, SC; his sister-in-law Brenda Coder (Tommy) of Rembert, SC; and his grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Aryanna, Landon, Cameron, Kylie, Chloe, Sophia, Caden, Cale, Caris and Emily.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
