He was predeceased by: his father James Wright; his son Dwayne Wright; and his niece Michelle Chapman. He is survived by: his sister Lillian "Elaine" Peay; his wife Louise Oxendine Wright; his children, Jacquelyn Nicks (Alvoyd) of Lithonia, Georgia, Janice "Terri" Potter (James) of Winston-Salem, Valorie Wright of Sumter and Bruce Wright (Okeyma) of Winston-Salem; his cousins, Geraldine Johnson of South Carolina, Evelyn Miller of South Carolina and Lucille Nelson of South Carolina; and his friends, Thurston Mattocks of Greenville and James Kelly of Wedgefield. He is also survived by grandchildren, nine (9) great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, two (2) brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
