He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley L. McElveen and Edna Osteen McElveen; his daughter Pamela McElveen Price; and his brothers, James McElveen (Martha), Russell McElveen (Mildred), Phil McElveen (Rounette) and Robert McElveen.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hill McElveen; his children, Paula Allen (Tim) and Ray McElveen (Aimee); his grandchildren, Bridgett Zeigler, Stephanie Brown (Tommy), Brent Price (Alyssa), Bruce Trepoy (Katie), Jennifer Coulter (Patrick), Grant McElveen (Emily), David McElveen, Emily McElveen, Ashley Clapsaddle (Nathan) and Andrew Allen (Tristen); his great grandchildren, Cooper Zeigler, Haylee Brown, McKenzie Brown, Delaney Toler, Avary Price, Levi Price, Maggie Price, Caroline Coulter, Emery Cole Trepoy, Mary Jane Allen, Loralei Allen and Noa Allen; his brother Gobe McElveen (Pat); and his sister-in-law Vivian McElveen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
