She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Washington Moore, Sr. and Pernelop Brown Pinckney Moore; her husband David Gathers; and her siblings, Julius Pinckney, Louise Pinckney Bolden, Elnora Pinckney Palmer, James Pinckney, John Pinckney, Mary E. Pinckney Ragins and Katherine Pinckney Spann.
She is survived by: her daughter Jocelyn G. Drakeford of Silver Spring, MD; her grandchildren, Gui R. Drakeford of Laurel, MD and Janelle S. Drakeford of Odenton, MD; her great grandchild Samya M. Drakeford; her brother Jacob W. Moore, Jr. (Mary) of Philadelphia, PA; and her caregiver Meriam Gadson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, spiritual sons and daughters.
