He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Frank Schwach, Sr. and Muriel McElveen Nettles; and his son Ernest Frank Schwach, III. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Beatrice Hussey Schwach; and his children, William "Billy" Schwach (Tina) of Hemingway, SC, Julie Rambo (Reese) of Charleston, Cindy Cook (Chuck) of Charleston and Laurie Crenshaw (Brian) of Goose Creek, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery (802 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150).
