He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Frank Schwach, Sr. and Muriel McElveen Nettles; and his son Ernest Frank Schwach, III. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Beatrice Hussey Schwach; and his children, William "Billy" Schwach (Tina) of Hemingway, SC, Julie Rambo (Reese) of Charleston, Cindy Cook (Chuck) of Charleston and Laurie Crenshaw (Brian) of Goose Creek, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
