He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Richardson and Dorothy Hood Richardson. He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Richardson (Toni); his son Michael Richardson (Tamecka Wilson); and his grandson Jayden Kennedy. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
