It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Franklin Bramhan of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Theodore Franklin, Sr. and Anita Evans Franklin; her siblings, J. T. Franklin, Willie Franklin, Benjamin Franklin, Woodrow Franklin and Josephine Franklin Jordan; her children, Ethel Waldell and James Edward Bramhan; and her granddaughter Nyoka Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Richard C. Bramhan, Sr.; and her children, Rosalannd Daley, Richard Bramhan (Barbara), Floris Bramhan, Fran Goodson (Roosevelt), Catherine Minor (Randy), John Bramhan and Alvenia Wilson (Irby). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
