Eugene Belton McLeod Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Belton McLeod Jr. (Sumter, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene B. McLeod Sr. and Sadie Aycock McLeod; and his sister Fair McLeod Edmunds. He is survived by: his wife Joan "Joanie" Simms McLeod; his children, E. B. "Trey" McLeod, III (Kimberly), Sean McLeod (Brittany) and Elizabeth McLeod; his siblings, Ken McLeod (Cindy), Walter McLeod (Tammy) and Helen Lee (Wedrell); and his grandchildren, MJ, Molly, Mac and Eve.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (226 W Liberty St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Opportunity Scholars Program at The University of South Carolina Sumter.
