It is with sadness that the passing of Eva Franz (Sumter, South Carolina) is shared. Eva, born on July 14, 1929, passed away on June 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Eva will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Eva by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Eva is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Eva’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Johann Ernst and Hedwig Raedler; her husband Guenter Franz; and her sister Ingeborg. She is survived by: her children, Ingeborg, Rainer Franz (Piper) and Peter Franz (Becky). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
