Evelyn Green Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Green (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Alcolu, South Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her close friend Lee Ernest Young of New York; her children, Christopher Green (Vickie), Ernest Green (Wanda) and Janet Joe of Sumter; and her siblings, Willie Lee Green (Ernestine) of Alcolu, Clyde Green (Veria) of Aberdeen, N. C., Richard Green of Sumter, Lori Green of Sumter, Hester Way of Alcolu, Louvenia Felder of Sumter and Ruth Felder of Bridgeport, CT. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of other children she raised, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during limited visitation at the home, 695 Flamingo Road, Sumter.
