With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Faye H. Smith of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zoula A. Hanna and Sarah Marie Flowers Hanna; her siblings, Carroll Hanna, Cecil Hanna, Eugene Hanna, Laurie Hanna, Robert Hanna, Uldine Barnette, Audrey Coker and Jeannie Spears; and her former husband Alfred "Al" Smith, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Al Smith, Jr. (Jeanie) of Sumter, Timothy Smith (Jennifer) of Sumter, Cynthia Bick (Edward "Buzz") of Sumter and Nancy Prosser (Ronnie) of Manning, SC.; and her sisters, Zulane Anderson of Concord, NC, Rose Perkins of Timmonsville, SC and Deborah Robinson of Wilmington, NC.. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren; 18 Great grandchildren.
