It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Singleton (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Eliza A. DuBose; and her siblings, Jerome E. DuBose, Sarah D. Toney, Dorothy R. Chambers Jessie R., Garnette and Amy D. Boney.

She is survived by: her husband King David; her daughters, Evita S. McQueen (Isaac) of Columbia, SC, Anita C. Singleton of Slidell, LA, Sonya L. Singleton of Columbia, SC and Natalie S. Gordon (Shawn) of Greenville, SC; and her grandchildren, Angelique L. Watson (Jonathan), Marcus Singleton, Adolfo, Jelani McQueen, Brittni H. Brown (Emmanuel), Ashli Generette, Jamari and Jalen Gordon. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
