He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Benjamin Hudson and Ernestine McLeod Hudson; and his siblings, Ed Hudson, Frank Hudson, Roy Hudson and Dewlene Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Holladay Hudson; his children, Kim Hudson Hodge (Mark) of Irmo and Fred E. "Freddie" Hudson, Jr. (Maresa) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Bobby Hodge (Kristen), Dylan Hodge, Audrey Hodge, Zach Hodge, Fred H. "Tripp" Hudson, III, Jake Hudson, Ellie Hudson, Drew Lambert (Nicole), Alyssa Yates (Dylan) and Connor Lambert (Kaela); his great grandchildren, Cyrus Yates, Ronin Lambert and Reagan Lambert; his siblings, Tommy Hudson (Ruth Ann) of Sumter, Clyde Hudson (Alice) of Sumter and Evelyn Phillips of Sumter; his caregivers, Tina Thompson and Georgia Davis; and also, Randy and Lorraine Disher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
