He is survived by : his children, Betty Bolden (David) of Sumter, SC, Carolyn Sanders (Phillip) of Tampa, FL, Cindy Grant (Mark) of Charlotte, NC, Amanda Thomas (Kip) of Atlanta, GA, Mary Helton of Charlotte, NC, Martha Ray (Reggie) of Charlotte, NC, Claude Helton (Deborah) of Sumter, SC and Colonel Perry Helton (Wanda) of Stafford, VA; and his sisters, Ernestine Brown of Newark, NJ, Audrey Jackson (Seigel) of Perth Amboy, NJ, Barbara Hagans of Newark, NJ and Blundell Harris of Perth Amboy, NJ.
