He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Shaw and Lottie C. Shaw; his wife Rose A. Shaw; his children, Shelia Shaw of Charlotte, NC and George Shaw, Jr. of Mint Hill, NC; his siblings, Eugene Shaw (Boogie) of Sumter and Barbara Ann Jonas of Sumter; and his former wife Thelma Shaw. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home.
