She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Byrd Compton and Arthur James Compton; and her siblings, James Compton and Frances Compton. She is survived by: her husband Henry McArthur Ward (Mac); her sons, Steve Ward (Renee), Johnny Ward (Kay) and Mike Ward (Balinda); her grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Cheyenne (Austin) and Brittany; her great grandchildren, Millie, Sadie Mae and Huntlee; her sister Elizabeth Hair; her grandsons, Morgan, Peyton and Austin Amerson; and her nephew Rory Hair. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
